Alternative Dispute Resolution Policy

The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board encourages the fair and expeditious resolution of all disputes. The Board may engage in alternative dispute resolution procedures when it is appropriate for the particular dispute. If alternative dispute resolution procedures are utilized, the Board will be guided by Texas Government Code Chapter 2009. In addition, the Board will, to the extent possible, utilize the model dispute resolution procedures developed by the State Office of Administrative Hearings.
