TSSWCB Requests Proposals for FY2018 Clean Water Act Section 319(h) Nonpoint Source Grant Program

TEMPLE – The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board (TSSWCB) is requesting proposals for watershed assessment, planning, implementation, demonstration and education projects seeking funding under the FY2018 Clean Water Act §319(h) Nonpoint Source Grant Program. Proposed projects should focus on agricultural and/or silvicultural nonpoint source pollution prevention and abatement activities within the boundaries of impaired or threatened watersheds.

Public Comment Period Announced for Draft Lavon Lake Watershed Protection Plan

WYLIE — The North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD), Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, and Lavon Lake Watershed Partnership have announced the opening of the formal public comment period for the draft Lavon Lake Watershed Protection Plan (Draft Plan).
