LOCKHART – The Plum Creek Watershed Partnership (Partnership) welcomes the public to participate in a stakeholder meeting set for December 6th at the Hays County Tax Office. Area landowners and citizens interested in the implementation of the Plum Creek Watershed Protection Plan (WPP) are invited to attend.
The Hays County Tax Office is located at 5458 FM2770 in Kyle, TX.
Sign in begins at 6 p.m. with a free dinner sponsored by Alliance Regional Water Authority. Partnership meetings are free and open to the public. Please send your RSVP by 5 PM on December 4th to srisinger [at] plumcreekwatershed [dot] org or by calling 830-557-7358.
The meeting will kick off at 6:30 p.m. followed by presentations from Steve Risinger, Plum Creek Watershed Coordinator. The evening’s keynote speaker will be Kylie Beard, Doctoral Student with Texas State University, speaking on her research regarding watershed protection plans. Discussion topics will include 2018 update to the Plum Creek WPP, low impact development in Caldwell County, and stakeholder engagement.
