Watershed Coordination Steering Committee to discuss feral hogs, poultry and septic systems

COLUMBUS, TEXAS – Feral hogs, poultry litter and septic systems will be discussed at an upcoming meeting of the Southeast and South Central Texas Regional Watershed Coordination Steering Committee (WCSC). The WCSC will meet at 10 a.m. on December 2 at the Colorado County Agriculture Building in Columbus with a common purpose: water quality enhancement.

Lampasas Watershed Steering Committee meeting slated for Nov. 18

LAMPASAS, TEXAS – A meeting of the Lampasas River Watershed Partnership Steering Committee to discuss solutions to solve pollution problems will take place on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 6 to 9 p.m. The committee will discuss stakeholder recommended management measures for implementation of the Lampasas River Watershed Protection Plan and a new bacterial source tracking project.
