TSSWCB Releases 2011 Annual Report on Managing Nonpoint Source Water Pollution in Texas

TEMPLE – The TSSWCB is pleased to release the 2011 annual report on managing nonpoint source water pollution to the citizens of Texas. The report is jointly published by the TSSWCB and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. The report highlights the State’s efforts during fiscal year 2011 to implement programs to protect the quality of water resources from the adverse effects of nonpoint source water pollution.

Public Comment Requested on Proposed Revisions to Texas Nonpoint Source Management Program

TEMPLE – The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board requests the public and affected entities review and provide comment on proposed revisions to the Texas Nonpoint Source Management Program. The Management Program is the State’s comprehensive strategy for protecting and restoring water quality in waterbodies impacted by nonpoint sources of water pollution. Comments must be received no later than March 12, 2012.
