2012 Summer Teacher's Workshop
Teacher workshops are held each summer for any teachers interested in conservation and natural resources issues. The workshops are held in in cooperation with TSSWCB. Teachers are able to earn 16 continuing education units (CEUs) while experiencing nature and the outdoors.
Teacher's Workshop: Conservation Education 101
This conservation workshop is held at the Holt Oaks Ranch in Blanco, Texas. Topics covered will be soils, the water cycle, plants in the Texas Hill Country, prescribed burning, wildlife habitat, energy conservation and more. Registration fee includes lodging, meals and workshop materials. Teachers of all grade levels will benefit from the valuable information in this workshop.

Location: Holt Oaks Ranch - Blanco, Texas
Cost: $95 - Scholarships may be available through your local Soil and Water Conservation District.
CEUs: The workshop is approved by the State Board of Education Certificate Registration #500210, 16 hours of professional continuing education units will be awarded to each participant.
