Marty H. Graham, of Rocksprings, Texas, was first elected to serve on the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board in May 2008, representing State District 2. Graham was subsequently re-elected in May 2010 and May 2012, and was elected Chairman of the State Board in May 2013. Graham has served on the Board of Directors of the Association of Texas Soil and Water Conservation Districts as the Area II Director. Graham has been raising cattle and goats on a ranching operation in Edwards County for over 25 years. Graham also has a hunting operation on the ranch, hunting white-tailed deer, turkey, and exotics. Graham has also served as a director with the Texas Sheep and Goat Raisers Association and the Mohair Council of America.

Soil and Water Conservation Involvement

  • Served as the Area II Director on the ATSWCDs Board of Directors, and as Vice-President
  • Serves as a District Director, since 1988, on the Upper Nueces-Frio Soil and Water Conservation District #238, and as Chairman of the District since 1995
